Rodeo Dance

“Patrick Howard Trampus Band”

We are excited to announce the return of  “Patrick Howard Trampus Band” to the 2017 Poway Rodeo Dance for both Friday and Saturday nights, September 22 & 23!

Patrick Howard Trampus PHT, is a Southern California country music artist. Growing up in rural San Diego County, PHT found a love for hay fields, dirt roads and country music.  He was influenced at an early age by artist like, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings and Hank Jr. He developed a love for country music and honed his singing skills in church and by camp fires.  By 18, PHT had his first band. They played the SoCal country scene getting the opportunity to open for major country acts like Billy Ray Cyrus, Mark Chesnutt, Wade Hayes and Jamie O’Neil.  PHT is a father of two great kids, Patrick and Alyxis. He took time away from music to raise his family. The love for music and entertaining never left. In 2014 he began his musical journey again. Forming a band in San Diego and playing venues from Petco Park to The San Diego County Fair. PHT is once again doing what he loves. Bringing a stadium like show to a honky tonk near you.

PHT has joined forces with LA based Whiskey Tango….a talented young and hungry group of musicians! This is no traditional country band. The country rock roots show in every song they play. This is bound to be one killer experience!

The “Free” dance starts after the Rodeo on Friday and Saturday nights and is open to everyone 21 and over.
