We are familiar with the saying that a “picture is worth a thousand words.” I believe that the doing or experiencing of an event (bronc riding, spurring for that second barrel, proudly carrying our Countries Flag, or coming to the rescue of a bull rider) must then be “worth a thousand pictures.”
The challenge is to capture those experiences so that, once away from the arena, or years down the road, you or someone else looking at the photo will sense the same adrenalin rush that made that moment in time, extraordinary!
Simply put, that’s what Roughstock Photography is all about. Being at the right place, at the right time, with the right gear and right attitude.
