Community Food Connnection
Community Food Connection accepts donations and volunteers to support their mission of providing nutritious food. Monetary donations are particularly effective, as they allow the CFC to buy items in bulk or source specific needs for the families they serve.
Donations can be made through the QR Code, their website or by sending an email.
Poway Rodeo Community Comes Together for Sam’s Posse
In 2023, our fans really stepped up their support and DOUBLED their donations by giving $10,000, enough to fund TWO bikes! Thanks to our fans and the partnership between Poway Rodeo and local non profit Sam’s Posse, our communities are becoming a more inclusive place to live and play. The mission of Sam’s Posse is to create accessible and inclusive activities and play spaces for individuals of all abilities.
Sam’s Posse Round Up Rodeo
In 2019 the Poway Rodeo partnered with Sam’s Posse, a local non-profit whose mission is to create inclusive activities and play spaces for individuals of all abilities. Hosting their Round-Up Rodeo which brings people of all abilities together seemed like a perfect fit, and we have been doing so ever since.
The Round-Up Rodeo is open to individuals living with intellectual and physical disabilities. It gives participants the opportunity to experience rodeo using specifically modified activities in a fun and safe environment. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, September 28th at 10 am and is free to all participants ages 5 and up.

The City of San Diego announced its intention to introduce a ban on all Rodeos moving forward, without seeking input from any stakeholders!
This misguided policy ignores generations of heritage expressed by our Indigenous, Black, and Hispanic cultures and the heritage of the American West. Nobody cares more for animals than those who put on the San Diego Rodeo. Please sign the petition to keep our Rodeo tradition alive.

Friday, September 27 & Saturday, September 28 directly following the rodeo. No cover charge, 21+ event, must have a valid ID. Come out for a good time, you never know who you might meet.
