Mia DiGiovanni – Poway Rodeo Jr. Queen

Hello all! My name is Mia DiGiovanni and I am so honored to have this opportunity to serve you as your 2018 Poway Rodeo Jr. Queen! I am 14 years old and currently attend Valley Center High School, where I participate in the dance program, play on the field hockey team and am currently raising a lamb to show at the 2018 San Diego County Fair for my FFA chapter. I have two horses, Doc and Waylon. Doc or Heza Smokin’ Package is a 11 year old AQHA and has been my rodeo horse for the past year while holding the 2017 Valley Center Rodeo Jr. Queen title. Waylon or Waymores’ Blues is my 6 year old BLM Mustang that I adopted in 2014 and had 90 days to train all in order to compete at the 2014 Extreme Mustang Makeover in Fort Worth, TX. Since then, Waylon and I have earned the title of the 2015 Youth Mustang Gathering Champion and I have continued his barrel horse training. I can’t wait to travel Southern California and surrounding areas sharing my love for rodeo and representing A Brand Above the Rest.
